Instructions:
- Take your Apple silhouette punch and punch an apple
along the bottom of the cardstock in the center. Next, flip your apple
punch over on the backside and continue to punch on each side of the
center apple punched on your page until you are within the last inch
of the edge of your paper. I was able to fit seven apples along the
bottom of the 8 1/2 x 11 cardstock. By flipping the punch over you can
line the punch up closer to the one you have just punched. You may
want to practice on scrap paper lining up the punch close to each
other before doing the actual page.
- Take your straight edge ruler and black fine line pen
and draw a line all the way around your page starting at the outer
edge of your apple silhouette punch, continue up and around your page
to the other side of the line of apples. (I drew the line about 1/4
" in from the edge along the sides and top of the page.)
- Repeat step 2 a second time about 1/4 " inside
of the other drawn line.
- Next, draw little "S's" close together
inside of the two lines all the way around to create a wood carved
effect. The beginning and the end of your "S" should touch
the edge of your two drawn lines.
- Take your black fine line pen and add dashed lines
around the edge of the circles of each apple silhouette.
- Take your red brush tip marker and place three dots
close to each other between the outside edge of your page and the
frame, repeat this design scattered along all four sides.
- Color the Apples in with the red and green brushed
tip pens. And the frame with the tan brush tip.
- You are now ready to add pictures and journal.
